Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Labels:
provide a quick, flexible and reliable electronic means to detect, identify and track a large variety of items.

An RFID system consists of a tag, which is made up of a microchip with an antenna, and an interrogator or reader with an antenna. The reader sends out electromagnetic waves. The tag antenna is tuned to receive these waves. A passive RFID tag draws power from field created by the reader and uses it to power the microchip’s circuits. The chip then modulates the waves that the tag sends back to the reader and the reader converts the new waves into digital data.

Protopak Engineering can supply all the equipment necessary to print, validate and read RFID labels. Protopak also prints RFID labels in one day if necessary.

Quality Assurance		To assure quality-control , cost efficiency and reliable solutions, Protopak Engineering Corporation scans every RFID label prior to sending them out. This critical step insures all the labels are scan-able by a reader. If any label does not read once it is printed, it is immediately marked visually by our printing devices so it cannot be used in the field.

$50.00 Standard Processing with UPS Ground delivery. This includes 20 RFID labels. For every label over 20 the cost is .99 per label.
For 1,000 labels and above call for a quotation
